After Arashiyama, Mom and I took the JR from Kyoto to Tokyo.
We did some research and settled at the Tokyo Station for lunch. After looking for a few spots to leave our luggage, we went straight for the ramen street. There were 8 shops in total but we found out that the tsukemen at Rokurinsha was the most popular. There was still a long queue at 2.30pm. After we finished eating around 4pm, there was still a queue. We wondered if it's really that good, and it did not disappoint.

Finally! Our tsukemen. Really thick noodles and really thick sauce.
The true taste of pork was really rich and luscious. It coated the noodles very well with every slurp. |

Yup, we had to eat our noodles while wearing a bib!! |
As if our tsukemen meal weren't enough, we stopped by Calbee+ for some freshly fried potato chips. This was really good and was not greasy at all, unlike what you would normally buy in a bag. We had the butter and salt flavor that smelled like popcorn!
