Jonathan's @ Suidobashi, Tokyo

After checking into our hotel, Mom and I took some time to rest before heading out to dinner.

Since our hotel was very close to the Tokyo Dome, there were plenty of choices but we wanted something light again.

Jonathan's is another family style restaurant and it had a rather good menu too.

They had the fried oysters on special and Mom told me about her college days, where she had most of her meals at the cafeteria. Her favorite meal used to be 4 small pieces of fried oyster with rice.

These oysters were huge! But very delicious when they were fried.

I also had the grilled chicken with corn and mushrooms.
It was served Japanese style - with grated radish and spring onions

Mom had hamburger which was the same style as mine.
I think their hamburg used part beef and part pork.
The beefy taste you usually associate with a real hamburger was not there.
