Before Mom and I went to see Cats, we had pre theatre lunch at the Red Spice Road. The food here is always decent and well done, even if the service is a bit slow. Probably because it is the holiday season.
The express lunch is at AUD 29.50 per person with a betel leaf appetizer and 3 mains with rice. For our choice, we had the braised ox cheek massaman curry and potato, the fried barramundi salad with cucumber, watermelon, fried shallots and the pork belly, black vinegar, chilli caramel and apple slaw. Mom liked the pork belly the best. I liked the barramundi salad, I think the flavours were more interesting but it is simple enough to be able to make it at home.
