Kay's Chicken (AUD 9.80) You don't have to be rich to have a decent lunch in the CBD area. Living in a food-loving city has its perks for sure and that is variety. Kyoto Winter 2018: Day 4: Uji

Our Day 4 started with breakfast. It was actually a bit challenging to find a place that opens quite early for breakfast. I think the Japanese are not really breakfast people, even though they like the cafe culture, their sense of enjoyment of it is quite different from the Western world. Coming from Melbourne where brunch is such a big deal, this is somewhat difficult for me. But having said that, I have to say that I like the simplicity of it all. One of the places I liked for breakfast is this place called Inoda Coffee, which is a local favorite. I enjoyed the simple yet strong coffee and simple sandwich.
