Cafe Sabarsky @ Upper East Side, New York City

One of the many delicious things I've had in New York and quite memorable too.

Cafe Sabarsky is actually located in a museum and the quiet space is just the perfect spot for brunch. It's a good thing we came early and not surprisingly, the cafe already had guests enjoying the early morning sit-in.

I can't help but notice all the delicious cakes on display and each one was just mouth watering. Just a word of warning though, don't come extremely hungry for breakfast. The cafe serves petite delicate meals so it is not for the ravenous.

That aside, I really like the European ambiance here. It reminded me of some of the French cafes in Melbourne somehow but then again, we are in America.

The Smoked Trout Crepes were nice and light. Beware that these nice bites are served called though. A really dainty ladies brunch.

The Raspberry Cake was more like a raspberry jam tart but again, very elegantly done. It went well with the cream.
