Relaxing Night Out @ Farmer's Arms Hotel, East St, Daylesford

A night out at the Farmers Arms Hotel should be on your list of places to eat when you're here at Daylesford. The atmosphere is friendly and homey. It felt like that Cheers bar where everyone knows your name. It's a family-run place and the owners make sure that you feel right at home. They chat and laugh with you. I haven't felt this at home at a pub in a long time and I wished there is a pub close-by just like this.
The dessert that you see here was the nougat and pistachio bombe with orange caramel sauce ($16). It's a cold dessert for a cold night, probably not ideal at this point but I'm sure it will be interesting on a warm summer night. The meringue was nicely done and smooth. It's not my favorite, but it's good.
