Oysters and a Small Mezze @ Queen Victoria Market, Melbourne CBD

This is just too good not to blog about. One of the things I love about Melbourne is the market. Yes! Most of the ones I've been to were very well maintained. And the queen of them all is the Queen Victoria Market.

I thought the best thing about this market is the seafood and deli sections. I love the wide array of cured meats, breads, desserts, mezzes and of course, coffee and wines. I can go on and on.

The oysters we had that morning were very fresh and sweet, luscious and tasted like the sea. The small things where were a dried fig with mascarpone cheese, a vine leaf stuffed with rice (dolmades) and a marinated artichoke marinated with a semi dried tomato.
