A Melbourne Scene and an Indian Feast @ Red Pepper, Bourke St, Melbourne CBD

At the Crown Casino
Let's talk about Indian food. It is spicy and no, it's not scary. I have a lot of Indian friends who came from different parts of India and one thing I found in common is that they all love the food from where they came from. Curries, breads, sauces, fried food, tea, dessert. There's an endless variety of Indian yumminess out there. Here in Melbourne, we're fortunate to have a huge Indian community and Indian restaurants that serve honest to goodness Indian food. Like Red Pepper, for example.

This was my second time to dine here and the food was still good. Because my cousins are not exposed to Indian food, I ordered for everybody and they seemed happy after the meal.

From the menu, I ordered naan breads, rice, lamb roganjosh, chicken tikka masala, malai kofta and paneer makhani. Each main dish came with rice or naan like a set ($13.9 each, $14.9 for the lamb). You'll never go wrong with these. Everyone's favorite was the lamb roganjosh, followed by the paneer.
