Don't hate me for this - I'm not a fan of blondies. Considering that I like two the main components - butter and brown sugar. It's just not brownies. It's not as rich, as comforting and as indulgent. But hey, it doesn't mean that I can't make them once in a while then give them away :)
I adapted this recipe from A Cooking Baker's My Favorite Blondies. For the add-ins, I used 1/2 cup chocolate chips, 1/2 cup dried cranberries, 1 tsp cinnamon powder.
Overall, I really liked it. Chewy, sweet, a little crisp around the edges. Very nice, indeed. But, it's still not chocolate.
