Sunday Dinner @ Maedaya Sake Bar and Grill, Bridge Road, Richmond

Here's another round of dishes from Maedaya. There's always something new to try on the menu. As most of what we've tried were good, some were uhm not. But all in all, it's still a good restaurant. Food was fast, service was very quip and efficient. This is a reliable izakaya joint in Richmond. If you're looking for quick, tasty morsels, this is your best bet. The picture here was the best dish of the night. It's the Beef Spring Rolls ($9.50) with an avocado sauce. I didn't like the sauce that much but I did like the sweet beef strips with salad leaves and crunchy red bell pepper.

Maedaya on Urbanspoon

This dish was not the best of the night. It's actually the worst of them all. It's waaaay to salty and oily. The mayonnaise didn't do anything to balance the taste and just aggravated it even more. Most their best card. Yakisoba ($10).

I think this is really nice too. The vegatable tempura was light and not too greasy. Salad was simple and well dressed with the fruity dressing ($10).

Maedaya Tsukune Set Chicken Balls ($11). This is still my favorite dish. You can't come here and not have this.

Agedashi Tofu ($6). A safe order but this was a really nice dish with very subtle flavours.

Red Passion Tornade ($13). A very fruity cocktail. A lady's drink. Alcohol here was not too strong and you won't even notice it. It will have an effect on you later on though so don't overdo it!

Rainbow Roll ($16.50). I liked this the last time I was here so I ordered this again.
