Korean Lunch @ Seoul Soul, Victoria Street, Richmond

There is a Korean craze in Melbourne these days. Just the CBD is packed with them. I do like Korean food. And I think that gochujiang is just genius! I would and could put it in everything - except maybe in something sweet. But then again, if someone came up with a dessert recipe with that in it, I will try it. Seoul Soul is tucked in layers and layers of Vietnamese groceries and joints here in Richmond and it does Korean food fairly well.

For lunch, I got the Spicy Pork Bulgogi ($10). The servings are just right for me and I wasn't struggling to finish the bowl that's packed with spicy pork, a nice salad, a slice of canned peach, a slice of orange, a fried spring roll and a fried dumplings. A friend of mine however, had the stone pot chicken bowl and wasn't satisfied. She mentioned that there wasn't enough chicken the bowl. Hopefully, they can improve that on our next visit. For me, though there was nothing to complain about. I had a Kimchi Fried Rice from here a few months back and I loved it. They didn't have today though.
