I love poached eggs. I wonder why the restaurants in Manila don't serve them that much. It's fairly quick and easy to make, not to mention healthy as long as you don't smother it with egg-based sauces.
I bought an egg poacher from the Darriwill Farm Store when I went to Lorne. I'm actually planning to use it when I went back to Manila but I changed my mind and tried it here anyways. Here is what it looks like without the egg:
With the uncooked egg:
When the eggs are finished:
And I have it on crusty bread with spinach dip and a few slices of shaved leg of ham. Yummmm...oh, and I had soy chai tea with it as well. Cheers!
